SO. MAJOR.

Stay Cool in New Shoes from James Smith

Is it heating up or is it just you? You’ll certainly be the talk of the town when you strut around in shoes from Shop Splash designer James Smith. Retire your summery flip-flops for a while and try these great sandals, wedges, and more.

Let’s start with the designer’s zip slides. Slides are having a major moment because they’re so easy and comfortable to wear. There’s no thong in between your toes like with flip-flops. You don’t have to worry about straps, either. You just slip them on and go. James Smith’s pair will let you add style to your look no matter how little time you have with your morning routine. These mule slides have uppers that are made entirely of black leather. There are three gold zippers across each shoe. There’s a slight, slight heel on these, but nothing that will ever trip you up.

Show off your sundress or bikini in the On Day slides. These go perfectly from brunch to the pool and the beach and back. They have a thin wooden base and nude-colored leather soles. The slides themselves include pale denim uppers with frayed edges. There’s plenty of support for your feet, but of course your toes will be peeking out so you can show off your fresh pedicure. Unlike the slides above, these have a barely-there heel that make them uber comfortable to walk around in.

Of course, we’re not all fans of flat shoes here. They have their place, yes, but they’re not great for every occasion. If you want shoes at stacked as the platforms the Spice Girls used to wear, then you’ll love James Smith’s Stevie slides. These come in a color called “tobacco,” which is a pretty tan. The tall platforms are made of many wooden stacked layers. They come with a tan leather sole as well as a slightly darker tan leather upper. Smith got his inspiration from the ‘70s, but these bad boys could have just as easily stepped out of the ‘90s, too.

Choosing which footwear goes best with your professional work outfits can be a chore. No more with Smith’s Off-Duty slides. These are simple, so they won’t make your feet ache, whether you spend your day sitting at a desk or standing up. Their pale pink leather sole sits on a tiny square-shaped heel that gives these shoes some structure. They have a brown velvet upper that complements neutrals like black and white as well as brighter, bolder colors.

Our last pick from James Smith is his Stevie slides in black. Yes, if you loved the shoes above in brown, then these are must-haves as well. Trust us when we say these look like entirely different slides in this darker hue. You still get the wooden stacked layers, but they’re a darker brown this time. These mules have black leather soles as well as black leather uppers. You’ll fall so in love with these slides that you might find yourself wearing them until the weather gets cold! You can only find James Smith shoes on Shop Splash.

Get Patriotic with These Great Fourth of July Looks from Shop Splash

Although it feels like summer has only just begun, the Fourth of July is rapidly approaching on the calendar. In addition to that extra day off work, there’s a lot of excitement in the air for this holiday. After all, what’s not to love? Great food on the barbeque? Check. Fireworks? Check. A nearby beach or pool? Check.

Whether you want to get fully decked out in patriotism this Fourth or don a subtler look, we’ve got everything you need at Shop Splash.

Of course, we couldn’t get this list started without an entry from Alexis. The designer’s Terra shorts are perfectly suited for the Fourth of July. These high-waisted garments have white and pale red stripes throughout, just like a certain American flag. With frayed edges and a flat front, these woven bottoms are comfortable and fashionable. It doesn’t get much better than that. You can always grab the matching top from Alexis or hey, just wear a bikini top!

Another great seasonal pick from Alexis is the Zhenya dress. This white and blue gingham number throws back to the bygone era of the 1950s with modern twists. There’s a waist tie to add shape to this looser-flowing dress and large ruffle spirals towards the bottom hemline. With short sleeves and buttons down the front, you can adjust this A-line dress the way you want to wear it.

Wear all the colors of our humble American flag in Alice McCall’s Frenchie dress in Electric & Scarlet. This sporty garment will take you from barbeque to beach party instantly. It’s made of a Lurex stripe knit and is mainly blue with red and white chunky horizontal stripes. The darling frilled hemline is too cute for words, while the barely-there capped sleeves will show off your arms. The V-neck is plunging yet moderate.

Bodysuits are all the rage, and you’ll understand why once you slip on Indah’s Journey knit bodysuit. This sexy one-piece will have you looking and feeling like Pamela Anderson on Baywatch. It’s got extremely high-cut legs, a thong style in the back, and a deep, deep front V-cut neckline. This unlined bodysuit would look great with shorts or a skirt.

Wow everyone at your Fourth of July soiree this year in Alexis’ Danijela top in a gorgeous rouge floral. There’s a matching pants set you can get to complete the ensemble, but let’s focus on the top for now. This delicate shirt is covered in layers and layers of luscious ruffles, from the short sleeves along the cape back. The front buttons up. This top is mostly red with specks of blue, white, and brighter red flowers throughout. It’s a subtle nod to the holiday for certain.

If you plan on spending your Fourth of July in a pool or the ocean, then get your hands on Mei L’ange’s Pia one-piece swimsuit. This has got all the colors of the American flag in one chic piece of swimwear. There are moderate side cutouts with a thick navy blue waist belt on either side. With thin spaghetti straps and a straight neckline, the structure of this swimwear is impressive. You can only get these great Fourth of July looks at Shop Splash!

Check out These Great Summer Looks from Designer For Love and Lemons

Here at Shop Splash, we carry your favorite clothes from some of the best designers out there. One of those designers that we’re shining the spotlight on this month is For Love and Lemons. We’ve prominently featured their looks in our blog posts in the past, but this time, we’re exclusively showcasing our favorite For Love and Lemons summertime looks.

Let’s start with a winner you’ll wear well into autumn, the Sweetheart wrap mini dress. This cheery short-sleeved wrap dress is periwinkle, which is a pale, light blue. White dots cover the whole dress, giving it a very retro feel. It’s unlined and includes ruffles at the sleeves and along the wrapped V-cut as well as diagonally across the waist. There’s a small waist tie off to the right side of the dress so you can control how much skin you show.

The Daria denim corset top in white will become a closet staple you’ll want to pair with everything from skirts to shorts. The bleached denim gives this spaghetti strap top plenty of structure and shape. It closes via the back with hooks and eyelets. The top is meant to be form-fitting (although it will stretch a little) and expose a slice of tummy. Contrast stitching adds even more visual detail.

If you loved the Daria top, wait until you see the Daria denim underwire dress. For Love and Lemons knocked it out of the park with this baby. This gorgeous lined white denim dress has some stretch. It will also form to your body for a close, unique fit. Once again, it closes via the back, this time with an exposed rose gold zipper. There’s a double waist belt with exposed rose gold buckles and eyelets. Tiny ruffles along the waist, beneath both underwire cups, and along the thick shoulder straps are the perfect finishing touches on this darling number.

For Love and Lemons has got you covered in the swimwear department, too. Their Havana bandeau top and matching ring bottoms are a unique take on the standard bandeau bikini. Both pieces are white with red horizontal stripes. The bikini top closes at the back with a rose gold logo hook. There’s a single shoulder strap that’s asymmetrical and can be taken off if you so desire. With a center U-ring made of rose gold and side boning, this top is as chic as it gets.

The bottoms are styled with a high-cut leg, high waist, and full booty coverage. The waistband can be pulled a little lower if you’d prefer to wear these bikini bottoms that way.  Double rose gold rings make another appearance on the side of one leg.

Get glitzy and glamorous in the Eloise tank dress in a glittery champagne. Our last pick, this dress is simple but oh so appealing. It has a criss-cross back, a slightly flared hemline, and a plunging V-neck. It’s okay if you want to wear this through New Year’s! We get it. You can only find these great For Love and Lemons looks at Shop Splash.

Get Sexy for Summer with These Shop Splash Sales Items

All the best words in life begin with an “S,” such as summer, sale, and Shop Splash. When you combine those words, well, it doesn’t get any better. Just in time for the changing seasons, Shop Splash is proud to announce its summer sale! If you’re missing any seasonal essentials in your wardrobe, this is your chance to stock up while saving some cash.

No matter how many pairs you might already have, you can always use more shorts. One Teaspoon is here to deliver with their Superstar Blue Harlets shorts. These dark denim high-waisted shorts are totally trendy. They are somewhat distressed, which means minor fraying or slight tearing for that fashionable look. With their raw twisted cuffs, you’ll wear these anywhere and everywhere this summer.

You might elect to pair your new shorts with Alias Mae’s Daffy platform heels in summery blue velvet. These chunky, funky shoes are reminiscent of the ‘90s, when all heels were sky-high. They have a one-inch front platform and a chunky block heel that’s almost five inches tall! They close via a buckle and ankle strap. The soles are manmade for comfort.

Get ready for summer festival season with the Slip star-studded bra from Norma Kamali. Designed in a stretchy bralette style, this black top has clean-cut edges, adjustable spaghetti straps, and a plunging front V-cut. The silver star studs throughout will give you plenty of sparkle and shine in the sun.

Bodysuits are still having a moment. If you don’t have one in your collection yet, shop Blue Life’s Zingara one-piece. This artistic, stunning off-the-shoulder number boasts a pretty embroidered floral pattern in delicate black and gold. The lace-up front lets you choose how much cleavage you want to show. The puffy sleeves are another chic touch. These would look great with shorts, jeans, leggings, or a skirt. Anything, really.

Get ready to swim in Bond-Eye’s Ochre Sunset reversible daisy chain bikini top and bottoms. Both pieces come in a bright red with white little daisies patterned throughout. If you turn this swim suede bikini over, it’s a rust-colored red. Let’s start with the Ochre Sunset top. You’re meant to wear this bra-style and tie the front into a knot. The bottoms are a standard string bikini that includes side rings for a nice touch. Given that this set is reversible, you can wear it as many times as you’d like.

Yes, you can get a great summer jumpsuit on sale if you shop Stillwater’s 90’s Crush jumpsuit. The color this one-piece comes in is called “dunes,” which is a lovely off-white. With its baggy, relaxed fit, this zippered romper has elastic and ruching at the waist to add shape. The quarter-length sleeves and ankle cut mean you’ll reach for this on those cooler summer evenings.

Alice McCall’s That’s a Wrap Playsuit is a must-have. Don’t miss getting this on sale! This ethereal number is made of layers of blush pink fabric, some of it sheer. It has a floral pattern stitched throughout and scalloped hemlines. With its cold shoulder style, keyhole front neckline, and wrapped bust, it’s sheer perfection. The bottoms are short shorts. You can only find these great looks for sale on Shop Splash for a limited time!

Get Ready for Summer with New Alexis Pre-Orders!

With hot temperatures in the 80s and 90s in May, it feels like summer has come early! You may have yet to transition your wardrobe from winter to spring. After all, this winter did feel like it would never end. Now it’s time to bust out the shorts, dresses, and rompers. Need some wardrobe guidance? Luckily, Shop Splash designer Alexis is releasing a line of gorgeous summer looks. They’re all available for pre-order now. Here’s what’s coming down the pipeline.

Be a vision in white this summer with the Zander dress. This ivory lace number is as a pretty as a picture. It has partial lining from the chest down to mid-thigh, so there’s no need to worry about accidental indecency. The hi-low hemline is still trendy, as is the streamlined, structured shape of this dress. It fans out stunningly at the bottom hemline with a lengthy train. There are also oversized ruffles on each sleeve to decorate your shoulders.

Another option in the same color is the Aliyah dress. This is professional chic in a nutshell. The dress looks like an oversized ivory blazer. As a mini, the hemline hits at about mid-thigh. That hemline is asymmetrical as well. There’s a single button front closure at the hips. Although this may seem pretty far down, this dress holds itself together well with an oversized collar and plenty of shape. You’re going to look like a queen at brunch!

Inject some color into your summer with the Luisana romper in sterling navy. Alexis’ semi-fitter one-piece is just darling. From the rich, bold blue color to the white and yellow racing stripe down each leg, you’ll wear this all summer long. The flare legs have slits near each knee so you don’t feel constricted in the summer heat. You can also show off your fantastic footwear choices. The top portion has thick straps and a square neckline as well.

Feel like a model strutting her stuff on the runway in the Theo robe dress in beautiful Sorrento gray (a strong, slate-like hue). There’s a lot to take in with this garment. There’s the layers of black embroidery throughout, giving the illusion of tiers. There’s also the oversized loose sleeves, elasticized waist with a belt, and deep, deep V-cut that you can adjust with said waist belt. Since it’s long-sleeved, you can wear this dress right into fall!

For any parties and events on your summer schedule, wear the Vicenzo dress. This will become your new LBD. It’s almost a black version of the Zander dress, but trust us when we say it looks and feels like a totally new garment. That’s partially due to the commanding presence of the black lace throughout, and also because of the shoulders. These feature thick straps. The ruffling is on the bodice now, too.

Our last pick is summer personified. Alexis’ Simonet dress in sunny marigold is white with a golden floral pattern throughout. There are also black accents at the collar, the waist, and the bottom hemline. This lovely sleeveless sundress has buttons down the front. Its hi-low hemline adds to its adorable quality. The bottom hemline ruffles, which looks especially extraordinary in the back. You can only find these great summer Alexis pre-orders on Shop Splash!
